Marilyn N. (Swenson)  McDermott, 82, died Sunday, June 26, in the Lydia Taft House, Uxbridge. She is survived  by her daughter, Sandra Zabel, of East Falmouth; two sons, Todd W. Zabel, of Attleboro, and Jay McDermott, and his wife, Lori, of Douglas; a sister, Beverly Baccari, of Natick, and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. McDermott.

Mrs. McDermott was born in Framingham, April 18, 1940, the daughter of Oscar and Esmah (White) Swenson. She grew up in Natick, lived in Whitinsville many years, and was an Uxbridge resident the past 17 years. 

A graduate of Natick High School and Chandler Business School, Mrs. McDermott was a home health aide for many years.

There are no Calling Hours. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
