Matthew R. Malo

Whitinsville-Matthew R. Malo, 28, died Thursday, March 7.  He was born in Worcester, January 21, 1991.  Matthew grew up in Northbridge and worked in numerous area restaurants, most recently UNO's in Millbury.  He loved to cook.  He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.  His laughter will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Matthew  is survived by his mother, Kim  Rocheleau-Gallant and step-father, Edwin Santiago, of Woonsocket. grandmother Irene Boucher, of Whitinsville, brothers; Michael S. Malo, of Woonsocket, Kyle W. Malo, and his fiancé Kara Gibbons, of Northbridge, sisters; Danielle Malo, of Woonsocket and Rebecca Malo, of Northbridge, 2 nieces and 4 nephews, his significant other, Elizabeth Cugini, many aunts and uncles including; Lisa and Neil Hanrahan, of Brookfield,  Timothy Rocheleau, of Worcester and his great uncle Al Ruth and his wife, Debbie, of Northbridge;  many cousins and good friends. 

Calling Hours will be Monday, March 11, from 5-7PM, at the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill St., Whitinsville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Matthew's memory may be made to the Jean Cahill Social Recreation Program, c/o Irene Boucher, 934 Providence Rd., Whitinsville, MA 01588
