Maureen A. (Plitnick) Paulhus died Friday, December 8, 2023, at Medway Country Manor after a period of declining health.  Mrs. Paulhus leaves four sons: Stephen Paulhus, of Worcester; Rich Paulhus and his wife Lisa, of Whitinsville; Brian Paulhus and his wife Maria, of Northbridge; and Jeff Paulhus and his wife Melissa, of Charlton; a daughter, with whom she lived, Danielle Burke and her husband Tim, of Whitinsville; six grandchildren: Drew, Casey, Emma, Madison, Shane, and Lexie. In addition, she leaves a brother Bill Plitnick and his wife Cindy, of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Patricia Zepperi, of Torrington, CT, and Marilyn Ball, of Whitinsville.  She was predeceased by her husband Richard L. Paulhus, in 2015, and a sister Cheryl Plitnick.

Mrs. Paulhus was born in Worcester, April 22, 1947, a daughter of Alfred and Constance (Basal) Plitnick.  She graduated from Commerce High School.  At the age of 16, she began working in Shrewsbury at Bradlee's, and remained there for 39 years.   She was a long-time parishioner at Saint Patrick's Church, in Whitinsville.  Her greatest joy was to be with her grandchildren and her favorite times were spent with them and her family.

Calling Hours will be Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 1-3PM.  Her Funeral Mass will be Monday, December 18, at 10AM at Saint Patrick's Church, Cross St., Whitinsville.  Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Providence Road, Whitinsville.  The family requests that if attending Mass, please go directly to church.
