Maureen F. (Andrews) Tauper, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 5. She leaves two daughters, Kerry Gendron and her partner David Markt of South Grafton, and Jennifer Troio and her husband Stephen of Whitinsville; two brothers, Anthony Andrews Jr. of North Carolina and Stephen Andrews of Florida; three grandsons, Matthew and Jonathan Gendron, and Stephen Troio, and a great granddaughter Harleigh.
Born in Worcester on March 5, 1946, Maureen was the daughter of the late Anthony Sr. and Helen (Mahoney) Andrews. She was raised in Worcester and graduated from St. Peter's High School. She had lived in Grafton for the past 10 years, previously living in Millbury and Whitinsville. She worked as a key punch operator for State Mutual and later went on to become an aide at the Northbridge Public Schools until her retirement. She was a fan of old movies, especially those with John Wayne, and she was a talented scrapbooker. Maureen loved spending time with her family and playing cards and board games with them. Her favorite place was Disney World.
Maureen's funeral will be Thursday, January 12, at 11AM at Saint Patrick's Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery Providence Rd., South Grafton, MA. There are no Calling Hours.
