Maurice "Moe" A. Deziel Obituary

 1933 - 2026

Maurice died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Maurice was a dedicated family man who is predeceased by his parents Albert and Blanche Deziel, his wife Yvette Deziel, a daughter Jaqueline Deziel, and a sister Jeanette (Deziel) Dupree.

Maurice is survived by his children: Margie Deziel and Dave Turnbull, Patricia Deziel and Steve Paget, Barbara and David Brouillette, Michael Deziel, Matthew Deziel and Rebecca Deziel, and Deb Dumas; sisters Jacqueline (Deziel) Baglini and Constance (Deziel) Levasseur; grandchildren: Alyssa and Erol, Matt, David and Taylor, Marc, Nicole and Brett, Zoe, Hannah, and Cameron; great grandchildren: Mason, Rylee, Aidan, Connor, Indigo and Ryder; many loving nieces and nephews, and his three furry companions: Nala, Simba and Sarafina who kept him company every day.

Maurice enlisted in the Navy and served in the Korean War aboard the USS Torsk - he was proud to serve and remained a patriot through his final days. After the service, Moe was employed by General Motors in Framingham for over 30 years, and you could say - he, too, was built “Chevy Strong”.  Moe loved the Red Sox and Patriots, being outside, family time, and dinner time! He often said, "You can call me anything, just don’t call me late for dinner!"
