Noel J. Charpentier died Thursday, February 1, 2024, in the UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus.  He leaves two sons; Jimmy Charpentier and his companion Stacey Dolan, of Leicester, and Noel H. Charpentier and his wife Christine, of Northbridge; five grandchildren: Abigail, Nicholas, Allyson, Justin and Caitlin; two brothers: Henry Charpentier and his wife Bonnie, of Polk City, Florida; Albert Charpentier and his wife Wendy, of Charlton; four sisters: Lucie Arrell and her husband Jim, of Sutton; Linda Reeves and her husband Michael, of Illinois; Susan Roy, of Uxbridge; and Mary Michalski and her husband Brian, of Douglas.  Noel was predeceased by his brothers John and Joel.

Born in Whitinsville to Noel L.H. and Mabel (Noel) Charpentier, Noel grew up in Sutton and was a graduate of Sutton High School.  He worked for over 50 in the swimming pool installation business, first at McCarthy Pools, and later at B&L Pools, in Uxbridge.  He retired in Fall of 2022.   Noel enjoyed motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson.  He had an extensive collection of music; 8 track tapes, vinyl records, and CDs.  He loved seeing live music and frequently attended concerts at Indian Ranch with his sons and friends.  He was a people person who enjoyed being with his family, friends, and socializing, whether at home or at a cookout.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Dudley-Gendron Post, Boston Road, Sutton, MA.
