Norma E. (Dunton) Annis Obituary

Norma E. (Dunton) Annis, 85, died at home, Saturday, July 23, following a period of declining health. Her husband, Ronald P. Annis, died in 2015. She is survived by two sons, Ronald P. Annis, Jr., of Carver, and Timothy E. Annis, of Leicester; two daughters, Wendy H. Annis, of Sutton, and Sharon E. Raucci, and her husband, Peter Rinaldo, of Brooksville, FL; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and five sisters, Cynthia Frye, of Plant City, FL, Jacqueline Bigelow, of Charlton, Priscilla Dalen, Of Tucson, AZ, Sheila Ansley, of Charlton, and Marcia Ciaccio, of Jefferson. She was predeceased by two brothers, Earl Dunton, Jr., and Bradford Dunton, two sisters, Judith Marion, and Deborah Dunton. 

Norma was born in Worcester, March 27, 1937, a daughter of Earl H. and Madelene (Traver) Dunton. She grew up in Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School in 1955. She had lived in Sutton since 1964.

She was a fixture at the Dudley-Gendron American Legion Post in Sutton, where she tended bar for more than 30 years. Norma was a member of the Sutton Congregational Church, and the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Dudley-Gendron American Legion Post. She was a devoted fan of Boston sports teams, and she enjoyed an occasional trip to the casinos.

There are no services planned at this time. Memorial donations are requested to Salmon Hospice, 37 Birch Street, Milford, MA 01757.
