Paul Wayne Hermann, 70, died Sunday, June 12, in the Rose Monahan Hospice House, Worcester, following a courageous battle with cancer. Paul's wife, Susan (Brouillette) Hermann, died in 2017. He is survived by his brother, Kirk A. Hermann, in Florida; two sisters, Irene Piggott, in Florida, and Claire Doyle, of Woonsocket, RI; and his girlfriend, Pamela Roda.
Paul was born April 8, 1952, in Johnston, RI, a son of Curtis and Dora (Paul) Hermann, and lived in Douglas many years.
A graduate of Woonsocket High School, Paul served an apprenticeship at General Dynamics in Quincy, worked at Portola, in Cumberland, RI, as general manager for many years, and after retiring, he worked at S.K. Chemicals as general manager for six years.
He was a member of the Douglas Beagle Club.
Paul's Memorial Service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, June 22, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville, after which he will be interred with Susan in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Harrisville, RI.
