Peter James Davidson, age 60, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, in Worcester.  He leaves his fiancée and love of his life, Michelle "Missy" Lavigne and his bonus child Jake, with whom he shared a home; his mother Patricia (Sabourin) Davidson, of Northbridge; 2 brothers: Jeffery and Paul Davidson, of Northbridge; a sister Mary Dylewicz, of Arizona; a nephew Matthew and 5 nieces: Rachel, Nicole, Kelly, Alexis, and Ireland.  He was predeceased by his father Allan Davidson, in 2015.

Born August 15, 1964, in Monterey, California, Peter grew up in Northbridge, graduating with the class of 1982 from Northbridge High School where he was a standout athlete.  He attended Miami Dade Junior College with a baseball scholarship as a pitcher, later transferring to St. Thomas College in Miami where he continued to play.  He was a 5th round draft pick by the Milwaukee Brewers and was inducted into the Northbridge High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999.

Peter and his siblings Paul and Mary were known locally as the "Davidson Triplets" and were named for the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary.  After they were born, the musicians sent each of the triplets a $25.00 savings bond and a letter asking to meet someday.  

Peter's passion for sports translated into a lifelong career in the fitness industry.  For many years he worked as a personal trainer, most recently at Crunch Fitness in Worcester.  He also worked at Gillette Stadium as an executive suite ambassador for the New England Patriots coaching staff.  He enjoyed traveling to California, Atlanta and Las Vegas.  More recently, he and Missy traveled to several islands and were looking forward to a trip to Italy.

Peter lived a life of faith, love, joy, and kindness. He made a profound impact on anyone he met.   He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

A period of visitation from 3:30-5PM, will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025.  Burial will be private. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Jake Joubert to assist with his college education.
