Richard E. Rousseau, died Friday, March 10, at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation in Whitinsville, with his loving wife of 30 years Carol (Bronson) Rousseau by his side. In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Cheryl Burman and her husband David, two granddaughters, Zaleh and Holly, sisters Susan Houston and Kathy Rousseau and two brothers, Robert Rousseu and Randy Rousseau, and several nieces and nephews.
Richard was born on May 18, 1946, in Worcester, a son of Robert and Ruth (LaPerle) Rousseau. He lived in Worcester before he moved to Northbridge. He was a United States Navy Vietnam Veteran. For many years he owned and operated Rousseau Locksmith on Lincoln Street, in Worcester and later went on to work as a maintenance supervisor for many area nursing homes before his retirement. Richard was a very talented woodworker in his free time crafting many beautiful pieces of furniture, and he also enjoyed trips to the casino.
