Ruth E. (Mahoney) Lowe Bickford

NORTHBRIDGE ... Ruth E. (Mahoney) Lowe Bickford, 79, died Saturday, May 14, in the Milford Regional Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, David A. Lowe, and his wife, Debra, of Burrillville, RI , and James H. Lowe, of Northbridge; four daughters, Donna Lannon, and her husband, Christopher, of Sutton, Mary Griffin, and her companion, Sean Trainor, and Cathy A. Grant, and her husband, Joseph, of Northbridge, and Sally A. Selvidge, and her husband, Lance, of Uxbridge, a brother, Robert Mahoney, of Uxbridge; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
     Mrs. Bickford was born in Northbridge, June 27, 1936, the daughter of Michael and Ellen (Bennett) Mahoney. She was a lifelong resident, and graduated from Northbridge High School in 1954.
     Mrs. Bickford was a nurses aide at the former Westborough State Hospital.  She enjoyed writing poetry, cooking, and spending time at the West Hill Recreation Area.
     At Mrs.  Bickford's request, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
