Ruth A. (Erickson) Moloney, age 75, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 31, 2024, at home. She leaves two sons, Chad Cadeiro and John Cadeiro, with whom she lived; two sisters, Alma Howe, of New Hampshire and Mildred Tymrakiewicz, of Milford, MA; a brother Robert Erickson, of Hopedale, MA; a grandchild Axel, nieces and nephews.  Ruth was predeceased by her husband, James Moloney.

Ruth was born in Upton on April 6, 1948, a daughter of Ruben and Irene (Marie) Erickson.  She lived many years in Falmouth before moving to Linwood 10 years ago.  While her sons were young, she ran a home daycare and was a crossing guard for the Falmouth Elementary School.  Ruth also tended bar at the Falmouth AmVets and VFW and was a cashier at the Stop & Shop and the Teaticket Walmart.  After moving to Linwood, Ruth continued working at the Whitinsville Walmart.  She was always a hard worker.  

Ruth's home was always open to her sons' friends.  She took everyone under her wing and treated them as one of her own children.  Many of her sons' long-lasting friendships are the result of Ruth's big heart and love and concern for others. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 12 at 11 A.M. at Lakeview Cemetery N. Main St Upton, MA 01568.
