Shea first moved to Massachusetts in 2011, living in Milford and later Whitinsville and most recently Douglas, but he spent time in Washington State with his brother's family as well. Shea was extremely proud of his English heritage and enjoyed many trips visiting family and friends in England and Wales.
Shea was a kind, thoughtful and artistic person. He loved cats, especially Hank, his beloved rescue cat. During his visits to Wales, he enjoyed photographing the scenery. Other interests included music, space and astronomy, and social justice - Shea was always thinking about those less fortunate and how he could help.
