Sylvia M. (Brooks) Clinton, died Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. Sylvia was born April 20, 1941, in Norwood, to the late Frederick and Alice (Schremser) Brooks. When she was a young girl, her parents moved from Norwood to a home on Webster Lake where Sylvia and her siblings grew up. Sylvia leaves a great niece, Jessica Guilbeault, who was her primary caregiver at Advinia Care, Northbridge, for the last 4 years. In addition, Sylvia is survived by a son, Robert Brock, Jr., and his wife Evelyn and their son Hunter, of Hudson, NH; a brother Royce Brooks and his wife Gail, of Putnam, CT; a sister Alice Cierpich and her husband Charlie, of Dudley; four step-daughters and their families: Marjorie Meisner, Tracy Gatley-McDonagh, Sandra Atchley, Nancy Clinton; a niece Brenda Guilbeault and her family, of Northbridge, in addition to several nieces and nephews. Sylvia was predeceased by two husbands, Robert Brock, Sr., and Robert Clinton, her stepson Bob, and her siblings: Robert, Harry, Stanwood, Marion, Rita, Shirley, and Ruth.
Sylvia lived several years in Mansfield, Massachusetts while raising her family. After her first husband died, she later remarried and returned to Webster until moving to Advinia Care in Northbridge in 2021. Sylvia loved Elvis, singing karaoke, and animals. For nearly 30 years she enjoyed summers at her trailer at Indian Ranch spending time with family and friends.
