ROCKLAND … Timothy R. Cronin, 49, formerly of Northbridge, died December 22 after being stricken ill. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Suzanne (Laflash) Cronin, of Whitinsville; a sister, Tricia Lambert, of Northbridge; his long-time partner, Tim Haynes, of Rockland ; nephews Noah and Tucker Lambert, and nieces Alexandra and Caroline Lambert of Northbridge; his uncle and aunt, George and Arlene Murray, of Northbridge. and several cousins.
Mr. Cronin was born in Worcester, November 1, 1969, He grew up in Northbridge and lived in Boston for 20 years before moving to Rockland several months ago. He was a graduate of Saint John's High School, Shrewsbury, and Cornell University, and he studied abroad in Italy. An architect, he owned T. Cronin Architect, L.L.C., in Rockland, formerly of Boston.
Mr. Cronin played rugby for the Boston Ironsides. He was a member of the Boston Atheneum, the Irish Georgian Society, and Historic New England. He enjoyed traveling extensively, was an avid reader and one of his favorite pastimes was exercising with his dog, Doylar.
Mr. Cronin's Funeral Mass will be held at 11am, Saturday, December 29, in Saint Peter's Church, Northbridge. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Whitinsville. Calling Hours will be 5-7pm, Friday, December 28, in the Carr Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box, 1893, Memphis, TN 38101, or the Parkinson's Foundation, 200SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
