William H. Sherman, Jr. died Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the UMASS Lake Avenue Campus. He leaves his devoted wife and partner of 25 years, Jeannine (Doyon) Sherman and their three sons: Jacob, Kyle, and Travis. In addition, Bill is survived by two sisters: Stephanie and Kelly Sherman, a niece Lindsay Sherman and his aunt and uncle Lorraine and Eduardo Guzman, all of South Carolina. Bill will be missed by his mother-in-law Marjorie Morin, and brother-in-law Louis Morin, both of New Hampshire; and his three sisters-in-law: Kim McAnany and her husband Christopher, Gina Gazza, and Jennifer Gazza, all of Massachusetts, and many nieces and nephews.
A son of the late William and Viola (Boisvert) Sherman, Sr., Bill was born March 6, 1975, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island where he lived until moving to Northbridge 15 years ago. He was a machinist by trade, working at several area machine shops including MicroGroup, in Holliston, and most recently Tegra Medical, in Franklin. He was a diehard New England Patriots fan whether the team was winning or losing. Bill loved making people laugh wherever he went and enjoyed being with the neighborhood kids. However, his greatest joy by far was spending time with his three boys.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5PM, Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Progressive Club, 18 Whitin Street, Uxbridge. Please join the family to share memories of Bill with food, drinks, games and spirit. Bill loved his New England Patriots, so this will be a football themed celebration. Wear your favorite team's logo to show support. The football game will be on as well.
