Dorothy was the most beloved secretary of my business career! She worked with me when I was the general manager of the Worcester Filenes during the 1980's. She was such an upbeat and positive thinker; she made my life easier just knowing she was there. She was an extremely loyal employee; and was well respected by everyone in the store. I still have pictures from our last visit when we had a mini Filene reunion. She never seemed to age; at that point she was in her early 70's and looked great. I loved and admired her, and am very sad to hear of her passing.

she was a wonderful caring person. always a smile on her face. a pep in her step and a hug for everyone. my friend polly boyns dotty and i went to visit an eastern star chapeter together. got lost on the way home. even though she had no fault in the getting lost she took blame along with the rest of us. she was so much fun. she will be missed teribly
